SILENT SPRING

Silent Spring is named for the author, Rachel Carson. Carson, a LGBTQ+ marine-biologist, conservationist, and ground-breaking author first published Silent Spring in 1962. The book has been credited with helping to launch the environmental movement which led to the creation of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Silent Spring prompted readers to think about their personal responsibility to future generations.  

RECIPE

1 oz Foundation Vodka

1 oz Melon Liqueur

1 oz Pineapple juice

3 oz Club soda

1. Build all ingredients over crushed ice

2. Stir

3. Garnish with melon chunk and tajin seasoning
